My name is Magdalena and I’m a painter, sensitive soul and gentle guide in the space of creativeness. Through my paintings and workshops I would like to take you on a journey within yourself, your memory, subconscious and imagination, because I strongly believe that Art is a bridge between human and his soul.
Libera Arte is the space where you can experience it.
My paintings are created to give you peace, relax and deeper connection with yourself. They also bring positive, supportive energy to your home and enrich the interior with unique character. I create them with intention, which I give in the description, so you can choose an artwork suited to you and your needs.

about me
My name is Magdalena Libera (artist name: Lena Libera), and I was born in Poland in 1996. I am a professional artist holding a Master’s degree in Painting and Drawing from the Poznań University of Arts.
In my work, I combine energy and matter — a process I call “art alchemy.” I believe that through art, we can channel, transform, and give tangible form to energy.
I create my paintings both intuitively and intentionally, drawing inspiration from nature, dreams, symbolism, and the hidden layers of memory. I would describe them as imaginary landscapes or “lightscapes” woven from light, energy, and emotion. They emerge as abstract realms and portals filled with vibrant colours, textures, and movement.
My work has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions in Poland and the Netherlands. In July 2022, I moved to the Netherlands, where I have continued to share my art, creativity, and passion with others.
I named my business after my surname — Libera Arte. I feel that its connection to the Latin meaning of the word libera (“free”) is no coincidence. To me, art is a gateway to freedom. I believe that creativity and artistic expression are among the qualities that bring us joy, life force, and a deeper connection to the soul.
Art is a journey inward — one filled with discovery, transformation, and unexpected treasures. Sharing this journey with others is an essential part of my artistic mission.

I took part in a report for the local TV in the Netherlands, where I’m currently living and renting my art studio. It tells about the local cultural center based in the old police station. I talk there a bit about myself, show my place and painting process (everything in Dutch, but you can turn on the automatic subtitles in English or Polish).
