Gardencity project includes a series of paintings and video works. All the paintings are of equal dimensions (95 cm x 140 cm) and form a 7-part polyptych. The works are made using authorโs own technique combining jute, concrete and acrylic paints. The main subject of the works revolves around the relationship between nature and culture, and particularly where these two spaces collide. For example concrete architecture duels the nature of the garden. These two realities are confronted with each other by the subsequent use of plants and concrete as a medium.
The video works, as the result of fascination with the space of a greenhouse and a laboratory,present bizarre, undefined forms that imitate organic matter.
The final work which recaps the considerations consists of the video in which the author acts on the wall in the garden.

Slowly rotating objects immersed in an artificial green light, provoking to call them living creations are in fact made of plastic โ new nature of our times. The age of anthropocene redefines the meaning of terms such as natural and artificial, blurring the border between them. Afternature, like a cabinet of curiosities, presents the collection of the postnatural speciments, that fascinate and captivate the eye. The work was presented on the diploma exhibition in the form of three videos projected onto walls. However the artwork can also exist as photographs.
